The HolaKey is a game changing innovation in travel technology that addresses one of the most persistent issues in today's globalized world which is language barriers. As international travel expands in scope and scale, linguistic limits continue to be a significant barrier for travelers, resulting in miscommunication, missed opportunities, and safety concerns. Traditional alternatives, such as mobile apps and handheld translation devices, are sometimes large, energy intensive, or reliant on internet connectivity, rendering them unreliable or inconvenient in real time travel settings. This project offers a keychain sized, AI powered language translator a portable, energy efficient device capable of real time speech translation in multiple languages. The device is lightweight, unobtrusive, rechargeable, and solar powered. Its casing is made of recyclable or biodegradable materials, which helps reduce electronic waste.
