Virtual Booth

LumiGuard is an assistive traffic light detector designed to enhance road safety and mobility for the totally blindness pedestrian and drivers with visual impairments such as colour blindness, night blindness, and cataracts. By using a Raspberry Pi, IR camera, and speaker system, the device detects traffic light changes and provides real-time auditory alerts to indicate when it is safe to proceed, wait, or stop. The device aims to improve road safety, promote accessibility, and reduce accidents at intersections by offering a low-cost, easy-to-use solution for users as public awareness of assistive technology grows, LumiGuard has strong potential for local adoption and future expansion into international markets.
