Games are widely utilized in educational settings, offering a vibrant environment for teaching and learning. Through our experience, we've observed the remarkable potential of games to enhance learning outcomes. Therefore, we've developed a game using the SCRATCH application tailored for English remedial students ranging from year 1 to year 6. Initially, the game focuses on seven fundamental words, progressively expanding into phrases and sentences. We firmly believe that language games have the capacity to captivate students' interest and foster active learning. Moreover, game-based learning encourages students to engage proactively with the material. Ultimately, we aim for this project to assist students in developing essential literacy skills, particularly benefiting those struggling with reading comprehension. We anticipate that this resource will prove invaluable for educators in effectively guiding their students through the learning process.
