This project developed a remote-controlled UV sterilization robot designed for high-risk healthcare environments including isolation rooms, operating theaters, and ICUs. The system integrates UV-C disinfection technology with spray-based sanitization, controlled via PlayStation 5 controller and Raspberry Pi 4B processing unit. Key components include dual DC motors for mobility, AI-powered vision system using RealSense cameras for obstacle detection and human presence monitoring, and a PyQt6-based graphical user interface for real-time operation control. Testing demonstrated effective sterilization capabilities with 95% fall detection accuracy and 92% contamination detection rates. The solution addresses healthcare worker safety by minimizing human exposure to infectious agents while ensuring thorough environmental disinfection in critical hospital areas.
