Our idea is to develops eco-friendly cutting boards using eggshells and fruit peels as sustainable alternatives to plastic and wood. Eggshells, rich in calcium carbonate, provide strength and durability, while fruit peels add flexibility and resilience. The materials are cleaned, dried, ground, and mixed with biodegradable resin to create a composite board. This approach reduces environmental impact and promotes kitchen waste reuse. Eggshells offer mild antibacterial properties, helping to limit bacterial growth. Fruit peels, such as orange or banana, also contain natural antimicrobial compounds. Preserving these during processing enhances the board’s hygiene, making it both functional and environmentally friendly.
