This project presents an IoT-Based Smart Door Lock designed to modernize access management for homestay accommodations. Addressing challenges like time-consuming key exchanges and lack of remote monitoring, our solution enables owners to remotely set and update door lock passwords via a mobile application, leveraging Firebase for secure data handling. Guests benefit from convenient PIN-based keyless entry, receiving instant feedback. The system also provides real-time notifications to owners for all access attempts, enhancing security and operational efficiency. Developed using an ESP32 microcontroller, this innovation offers a robust, user-friendly, and cost-effective approach to smart homestay access, aiming to improve both owner management and guest experience.
